Choosing a short-depth rackmount chassis for compact installations

Start with the installation space
Measure the usable rack depth and leave room for cables, airflow and installation access. The outside dimensions of an enclosure are only one part of the fit: connectors, cable bends and rack hardware also need space.
Match the enclosure to the system
List the motherboard, power supply, storage devices and expansion cards planned for the build. Compare their requirements with the documentation for the exact chassis model rather than relying on rack height alone.
Prepare a focused inquiry
Share the intended chassis model, rack height, motherboard, power supply, quantity and delivery destination with the IPCHASSIS team. A clear requirements list makes the next product discussion more useful.
